AJ City is a lo-fi science fiction project set mainly in the Ajegunle district of Lagos, also know as “AJ City”. Drawing inspiration from stories such as Akira and the X-Men series it is the story of two Lagos youths that are plagued by seemingly uncontrollable metaphysical phenomena. The film tells of their journey to uncover what has happened to them and why.
